WASHINGTON — Next month, the Washington Theological Union will host a Faith in Action Conference, designed to address the diverse needs of its alumni and other pastoral leaders in the Church today.
The Sept. 16 to 18 event will comprise roundtable discussions, breakout sessions, prayer and speakers.
Featured presentations include:
· “Resurrection Politics” by Dr. Maryann Cusimano Love
· “Birthing the New Creation: The Spirit’s Pentecost Ministry to the 21st Century” by Dr. James Hug, SJ
· “The State of Lay Ministry Today” by Christopher Anderson
The program is being presented by the WTU Alumni Leadership Team and the office of Institutional Advancement. “It is the result of the dedication and hard work of the entire WTU community,” said Joan Knetemann, WTU director of Institutional Advancement.
Information about speakers, schedule and registration is available in a brochure distributed last month by the WTU.
