Bishop W. Francis Malooly (at left in photo) and retired Auxiliary Bishop Michael Saltarelli (right) concelebrated Mass on June 29, the feast of St. Paul, with Pastor Todd Carpenter, OFM, and Vicar Michael Tyson, OFM.

wilmington-bAt the Mass, the parish acknowledged council members with certificates of appreciation, said Todd. The pastor also recognized parishioners from San Pablo Tejalpa, a community in Mexico.

Approximately 150 people attended the bilingual Mass, according to an article in The Dialog, the newspaper of the Diocese of Wilmington, in which Bishop Malooly urged the congregation to spread the Catholic faith.

The Province’s parish in Triangle, Va., St. Francis of Assisi, also held an event to commemorate the feast of St. Paul.
