NEW YORK – Holy Name’s Visioning & Planning Committee submitted a vision statement, representing the decision of the friars at the Chapter of Mats, to the Provincial Council for review at its August meeting. The Council approved this statement which has since been mailed to all the friars of the Province.
At its August 10 meeting, the V&P Committee discussed ways that friars could make the vision statement more concrete and specific. To that end, the friars will be mailed a Preference Survey in the fall. Along with some updated demographic data, the results of this survey will aid discussions at the Provincial Regional Days to be held between Oct. 28 to Nov. 20.
The committee is grateful for the enthusiastic response of the friars at the Chapter of Mats and looks forward to working with the friars as we prepare for Chapter 2008.
