Gregory Jakubowicz, OFM, has been named the university chaplain for St. Bonaventure University in Western New York. Since 2016, he has been stationed at St. Joseph University Parish in Buffalo, New York. The 1987 St. Bonaventure graduate will assume his new position on Aug. 1. |

Adolfo Navarro-Blanco, OFM, a temporary-professed friar, has left the initial formation program, as of May 1. He wrote the following message to the friars of the Province: “Thank you for your prayers and support during my recovery. I am on my way to fully recover. The doctors and nurses have been very helpful in this process, but I am sure that your love and prayers have been a significant healing power for me. May the Blessed Mother always be in your lives. As you know, I am leaving the Order; however, I will continue keeping you in my heart and my prayers. May God give all of you peace.” |
