The Provincial Administration has announced new assignments for two friars.
Russel Murray, OFM, has been approved by the Provincial Council to pursue studies for a licentiate in sacred theology at the St. Bernardine Institute of Ecumenical Studies in Venice, Italy. This institute is part of the Pontifical University of St. Anthony (Antonianum) in Rome. Russel plans to leave Siena College, Loudonville, N.Y., after the Provincial Chapter in June for Venice to enroll in an Italian language program.
Jeffrey Upshaw, OFM, has moved to St. Anthony Friary in Butler, N.J., to begin a formation internship, effective Feb. 1.
