NEW YORK — The Provincial Council has announced new assignments for five friars. They are:
• Justin Bailey, OFM, to St. Anthony Friary in St. Petersburg, Fla., effective March 12.
• Charles Finnegan, OFM, to St. Anthony Shrine, Boston, as pastoral associate, effective March 7.
• Thomas Jones, OFM, to Convento Nossa Senhora Mae de Deus, in Catalao, Brazil, pastoral ministry, effective January 1.
• Stephen Lynch, OFM, who moved to St. Anthony Shrine, Boston, as pastoral associate, effective March 1.
• Gerald Paciello, OFM, to St. Anthony Residence, 103 Arch St., Boston, as chaplain at Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Mass., effective Feb. 23.
