NEW YORK — The provincial councils of Christ the King Province of Western Canada and Holy Name Province have unanimously approved the request ofThomas Donovan, OFM, to transfer from Christ the King to Holy Name Province.
Thomas has been working as sacristan at St. Anthony Shrine in Boston for the past several years. His transfer will become effective April 2.
At its March 16 meeting, HNP’s Council appointed a planning committee to prepare for the 2011 Provincial Chapter.
The members are:

· Thomas Conway, OFM — liaison to the Provincial Council
· Fred Dilger, OFM
· Angelus Gambatese, OFM
· Michael Harlan, OFM, Provincial Secretary
· Lawrence Hayes, OFM
· Fr. Fred Link, OFM, General Visitor
· John Mahon, OFM
· Andrew Reitz, OFM
· John Ullrich, OFM
The committee will be soliciting agenda suggestions from the Province as well as making practical preparations for the Chapter, being held Jan. 3 to 7, 2011 in Maryland. More details will be forthcoming.
