The Provincial Administration has announced new assignments for four friars.
Michael Carnevale, OFM, has been named temporary administrator of St. Francis of Assisi Church, New York, N.Y., effective Feb. 11.
Francis Gunn, OFM, who has petitioned for an indult of exclaustration, has been appointed administrator of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Northville, N.Y., and St. Joseph Church, Broadalbin, N.Y., by Bishop Howard Hubbard of Albany. His address, effective Feb. 21, is St. Francis of Assisi Church, 501 Bridge St., Northville NY 12134 and phone number is (518) 863-4736. His cell phone and e-mail remain the same.
Jerome Massimino, OFM, will take up the position of chaplain at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla., with residence at St. Anthony Friary in St. Petersburg, effective March 1.
James O’Connell, OFM, will begin the position of Catholic chaplain at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York City, effective March 4.
