The Provincial Council has announced two new friar assignments.
Joseph Juracek, OFM, has been appointed liaison for the friars stationed in Sullivan County, N.Y., at parishes in Callicoon, Narrowsburg, Obernburg, and Yulan.
Ignatius Smith, OFM, has been assigned to St. Anthony Friary in Butler, N.J., as senior associate friar, effective Oct. 1.
