The Provincial Council has announced new assignments for five friars.

Brian Hart, OFM, has moved to St. Anthony Friary, Butler, N.J., effective Feb. 5.

James Czerwinski, OFM, has been assigned to the pastoral staff of St. Anthony Shrine in Boston, effective March 15.

The Province’s withdrawal from St. Mary’s Parish in Providence has affected the friars there.
Scott Brookbank, OFM, will soon take up duties as a member of the formation team at the North American OFM Interprovincial Novitiate at St. Francis Friary in Burlington, Wis. He has already moved his belongings there and, after returning to the East for several commitments, will reside in Burlington, beginning April 16.
Charles O’Connor, OFM, left Providence Feb. 23 for a temporary assignment at the Siena College friary. He will be assisting during Lent at St. Francis Chapel in Albany, N.Y.
Steven Patti, OFM, is remaining in Providence for now to assist with the transition to diocesan staffing and to oversee the sale of the friary.
