The Provincial Administration has announced new assignments for twelve friars.

Casey Cole, OFM, has been assigned as associate director of campus ministry at the Catholic Center University of Georgia in Athens, effective July 1. Casey is scheduled to be ordained to the priesthood on June 22.

Seven residents of Holy Name Friary in Ringwood, N.J. — the skilled nursing home which is closing this spring — have received assignments, effective March 8.

Three friars — Romuald Chinetsky, OFM, Capistran Heim, OFM, and Reginald Reddy, OFM – will be living at Teresian House in Albany, N.Y. , effective March 8. They will be officially assigned to the Siena College community.

Four friars — Conrad Harkins, OFM, Philip O’Shea, OFM, Blaise Reinhart, OFM, and Frank Waywood, OFM — have been assigned to St. Cabrini Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. , effective March 8. They will still be officially assigned to Holy Name Friary.

Four friars received assignments that are effective March 15.  John Pierce, OFM, has been assigned to the Lyons campus of the VA New Jersey Health Care System in Lyons, N.J., effective March 11.  Alexander Di Lella, OFM, Charles Finnegan, OFM, and Bernardine Kessing, OFM, have been assigned to Saint Catherine of Siena Nursing Home in Caldwell, N.J., with an official connection to Holy Name Friary.
