The Provincial Administration has announced a new assignment for a recently-ordained friar and the withdrawal of a friar from the Province’s formation program.

Gregory Jakubowicz, OFM, has been assigned to St. Joseph’s Parish in Buffalo, New York, and the campus ministry at the University of Buffalo effective July 19. |

Juan de La Cruz Turcios, OFM, has been appointed associate pastor of Holy Angels Cathedral, Ss. Monica and Luke Parish, and St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Gary, Indiana, effective July 1. Juan was ordained to the priesthood on May 29. |

Chuckwuma Obadike, OFM, has left the Province’s initial formation program. |
