NEW YORK — The Provincial Administration has announced the transitions of two friars.
• Michael Blastic, OFM, made his solemn profession to observe the Rule of St. Francis according to the Constitutions of the Order of Friars Minor on Nov. 2 in a ceremony at Evening Prayer in the friary chapel at St. Bonaventure Universityin Allegany, N.Y. F. Edward Coughlin, OFM, provincial councilor, was delegated to receive Michael’s profession.
This marks the end of the three-year process through which Michael transferred from the Conventual Franciscans to the Friars Minor.
• Novice Scott Carey has withdrawn from the Province’s formation program, effective Nov. 9.
