NEW YORK — The Provincial Office has announced three friar transitions.
• Russell Becker, OFM, (pictured) is working on the pastoral staff of the Franciscan Chapel Center in Tokyo, Japan, from Oct. 15 until January 2010.
• Student friar Timothy Powers has withdrawn from HNP’s formation program at Holy Name College in Silver Spring, Md., effective Oct. 24.
In addition, Fr. Brian Flynn, OFM, a member of St. Barbara Province, formerly a member of Holy Name Province, transferred to Holy Name Friary in Ringwood, N.J., from St. Anthony Residence in Boston, Mass., effective Oct. 27.
