NEW YORK — Over the years, November has been a significant month in Province history. Several of the Province’s notable events are listed below.

Nov. 4, 2007 – St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Triangle, Va., commemorated its 50th anniversary.

Nov. 14, 2007 – Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in Ringwood, N.J., for missionary Campion Lally, OFM.

Five Years Ago
Nov. 2, 2003 – All Saints Parish in Harlem inaugurated the 125th anniversary of its founding.

Ten Years Ago
Nov. 17, 1998 – A painting of the late Julian Deeken, OFM, was unveiled at the New York Firefighters Academy on Randall’s Island, New York City.

Nov. 28, 1998 – The Family Center of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Lima, Peru, was dedicated.
