MFL_lrg“This was the third year we’ve taken a group from St. Anthony’s, but Sullivan County and St. Bona’s have been taking groups for many years,” said Jud, pastor of St. Anthony’s.

Ignatius and Anthony concelebrated an 8:40 a.m. Mass at St. Camillus in Silver Spring, Md., the day of the march, where the group stayed overnight. They were hosted in the morning by the Knights of Columbus, which prepared breakfast and sent the group off with bag lunches.

Friars at Holy Name College also offered their facility to the students, for showers and freshening up.

“I liked the trip because it reinforced and encouraged me that there are so many other people from around the country, and even the world, who are dedicated to the protection on life,” said one SBU participant.
