OAKLAND, Calif. — The friars of the Province of Saint Barbara have elected Fr. John Hardin, OFM, as their new Provincial Minister. He replaces Fr. Melvin Jurisich, OFM.
Fr. John was sworn in on Jan. 6 by the visitor general, Peter Williams, OFM, and received the seal of the province.
