Spring Issue of The Anthonian Highlights Campus Ministry

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The spring issue of The Anthonian, the quarterly publication of St. Anthony’s Guild, “celebrates all of the work the friars do as campus ministers in our own St. Bonaventure University and Siena College, and also at other universities and colleges,” according to director Joseph Hertel, OFM.

In his letter inside the front cover, he wrote: “It has always been our goal that the campus ministry centers would provide a Catholic heart to the campus.” Joseph is finishing his term as director this month.

Throughout the magazine, Gregory Jakubowicz, OFM, Daniel Dwyer, OFM,Daniel Horan, OFM, William Beaudin, OFM, David Hyman, OFM, Thomas Vigliotta, OFM, John McDowell, OFM,Patrick Tuttle, OFM, F. Edward Coughlin, OFM, and Christopher Keenan, OFM, are pictured.

Even the issue’s “My Franciscan Journey” followed the campus ministry theme, featuring long-time campus minister at Georgia Tech, Mario Di Lella, OFM.

The spring Anthonian also included “Ite Ad Joseph,” a reflection from Russell Becker, OFM, director of theFranciscan Chapel Center in Tokyo, on St. Joseph whose feast was March 19.
