LOUDONVILLE, N.Y.-Siena College radio station WVCR-FM is back on the Internet with a remodeled Web page and a live feed at www.wvcr.com.

The station has developed shows such as the Siena Alumni Connection, with longtime broadcaster Mark Grimm; News & Views, an interview program hosted by Siena president Kevin Mackin; and an outstanding mix of ethnic and religious programming.

The Siena Alumni Connection airs Saturday 10 a.m. and Sunday 6 p.m. News & Views airs the first Saturday of each month at 9 a.m.

Sunday’s Voices of Catholic Radio is a meditation in word and music on the Holy Eucharist. Titled “The Music and Poetry of Adoration” the program features musical settings of Eucharistic texts by Elgar, Haydn, Hoffman and Savoy, and adapted meditations of 17th century English poet Richard Crashaw.

WVCR has a powerful 35,000-watt broadcasting signal, reaching a 60-mile radius in New York’s Capital Region at FM 88.3.
