LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. — A candlelight  vigil in remembrance of Iraq war victims was held at Siena College on Oct.  25 in front of the library.

The 6:30 p.m. vigil used candles as a symbol of lives lost; following the service, Kevin Mullen, director of the Franciscan Center for Service and Advocacy, spoke about war, violence, and Franciscan responsibility.

The program, which is part of the Sister Thea Bowman Center’s programs against violence,  was sponsored by Campus Action and the Franciscan Center for Service and Advocacy.
