RINGWOOD, N.J. — Funeral services were announced today for Rayner Williams, OFM, 88, who died this morning at Holy Name Friary. Rayner, a native of Jessup, Penn., was a professed Franciscan friar for 64 years and a priest for 59. He spent most of his friar life in Provincial administration.
Rayner’s wake will held on Oct. 2 at 4:30 p.m. at Holy Name Friary, 2 Morris Rd., Ringwood, with a viewing scheduled for Oct. 3 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, 65 Bartholidi Ave., Butler, N.J. It will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Provincial Minister Kevin Mullen, OFM. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Butler.
