RALEIGH, N.C. — St. Francis Church here welcomes volunteers from outside the parish to participate in its 2007 trips to New Orleans to work with Operation Helping Hands in aiding people affected by Hurricane Katrina.
The delegations from St. Francis will travel from March 25 to 31 and April 9 to 14, according to the parish’s Web site where interested volunteers can find information about participating. The work will include gutting, cleaning and rebuilding homes.
