NEW YORK — Following the Provincial Chapter and Congressus in June, Provincial Minister Kevin Mullen, OFM, and Provincial Vicar Lawrence Hayes, OFM, are relocating to the Provincial Office in Manhattan.

Kevin announced to friars on June 27 that Larry will move to New York City on July 10 and Kevin will relocate in August, after he concludes his term as president of Siena College.

“As Christians, we are always on the way, always on the move, always transitioning in one way or another,” said Kevin. Since 2005, he has been stationed at the Loudonville, N.Y., college, where he has served as president for nearly seven years.

Kevin will be at the Provincial Office once a week until he moves to New York permanently in mid-August. F. Edward Coughlin, OFM, will assume his role as interim president of Siena on Aug. 4.

Lawrence is moving from Durham, N.C., where he has served as pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish since 2013. Though he will work at the Provincial Office, Larry will reside at Holy Name of Jesus Friary on West 96th Street.
