Applicants are being sought for positions at two Holy Name Province locations — one in New York City and the other in Durham, N.C.
In New York, the Provincial Office is seeking a communications coordinator to use a variety of editorial and design skills on an assortment of creative projects.
The full-time staff member will assist the director of communications in delivering information both to HNP members and to the public. The job is located at the Province’s headquarters in Midtown Manhattan.
A “want ad” flyer, distributed last week to all HNP friars, provides information about the position’s responsibilities and required qualifications. “The ideal applicant will have experience, skills and interest in editing, as well as design, and will be familiar with social media technology,” said Jocelyn Thomas, HNP director of communications.
Interested applicants are asked to submit resumes to Thomas by June 5.
In Durham, N.C., Immaculata Catholic School, the 100-year-old kindergarten-through-eighth-grade school affiliated with Immaculate Conception Parish, is seeking a director of development to create and implement fundraising strategies and tactics. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three to five years of previous development/advancement experience, according to a job description available on the parish website.
