The Provincial Council has scheduled a series of eight fraternal gatherings for Holy Name friars.
The focus at the fall regional days will be on preparation for the January 2011 Provincial Chapter, according to a memo from Provincial Secretary Michael Harlan, OFM, sent to all friars Aug. 24. The participants will discuss the more than 20 proposals that are being considered for inclusion in the Chapter’s agenda.
Starting later this month, the gatherings will be held in a variety of HNP locations through the end of November. Michael reminds friars to mail, fax or e-mail registration forms to the Provincial Office no later than Sept. 17, “even if one of the fraternal gatherings are being held at your friary.”

Next month, the leaders of all HNP friaries will participate in the Province’s annual guardians meetings. It is Oct. 19 to 21 in Easton. Pa.
