NEW YORK — The Province is mourning the death of the father of Mario Gomez, OFM, who died Feb. 27 in Lima, Peru. The burial was held Feb. 28.
In addition, the friars are mourning the death of Sr. Margaret Mackey, OSF, of the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, N.Y. She died Feb. 21 at Notre Dame Diocesan Convent in Lawrenceville, N.J.
