NEW YORK –- The Province is mourning the recent deaths of a sister of a friar, the brother of a late friar, and two friends.
Janet Fowler, sister of John Ullrich, OFM, died Oct. 18 in Buffalo, N.Y. Funeral arrangements are being finalized.
Edward Bradshaw, 86, brother of the late Rayner Bradshaw, OFM, died on Oct. 4, in Boston. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Oct. 6 in Haverhill, Mass.

Sr. M. Karen Burns, OSF, died Sept. 28 at St. Elizabeth Motherhouse in Allegany, N.Y. She was a member of the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany.
Fr. Clyde Young, OFM, of St. John the Baptist Province, died Sept. 22 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
