NEW YORK — The friars are mourning the deaths of three friends of the Province.
• Fr. Bart Pax, OFM, of St. John the Baptist Province, died July 23.
• Eligia Villanueva, mother of Sonia Bernardo, died July 31. Bernardo is a librarian at Holy Name College in Silver Spring, Md.
• Cormac (Martin) McDonnell, a former Holy Name Province friar, died Aug. 2 in Maryland.
