The Holy Name Province community is mourning the deaths of two friars’ relatives.
Marie Norton, mother of Robert Norton, OFM, died March 11 in West Milford, N.J.
Michael Felice, brother of John Felice, OFM, died March 16 at the age of 71. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated March 19 at Our Lady of Snow Church in Blue Point, N.Y.
In addition, the friars mourn the deaths of several friends of the Province.
• Marion Palano, wife of Carmelo Palano, died March 10. Mel Palano was part of the original faculty at Bishop Timon-St. Jude High School in Buffalo, N.Y., and is an affiliate of the Province.
• Fr. Melchoir Toczek, OFM, a member of Sacred Heart Province, died March 13.
• Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, N.Y., Poverello Wells, Anne Crowe and Philip Mary Mulvey died on Feb. 8, March 8 and March 14, respectively.
