The Province is mourning the deaths of three friars’ relatives and a recipient of the HNP Francis Medal.
David Horsey, 45, cousin of Scott Brookbank, OFM, died on Sept. 8 in Rochester, New York.
Lynn Carnevale, 69, wife of Peter Carnevale, a nephew of Michael Carnevale, OFM, died on Sept. 22.
Adele Pistacchio, 95, mother of Gene Pistacchio, OFM, and an affiliate of the Province, died on Sept. 22.
Archbishop Harry Flynn, 86, of the Archdiocese of St. Paul-Minneapolis, Minnesota, a recipient of the HNP Francis Medal, died on Sept. 22. He received a bachelor’s and master’s degrees, as well as an honorary doctorate degree, from Siena College.
Henry Bried Jr., 60, nephew of William Bried, OFM, died on Oct. 4 in Scottsdale, Arizona. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Nov. 9 at St. Gabriel Church in Cave Creek, Arizona.
