Holy Name Province is mourning the death of a friend of the friars.
Dr. Joseph Marotta, 57, a 1980 graduate of Siena College, died on Feb. 8 in Menands, N.Y. He founded the charitable organization Medicus Christi.
A wake is scheduled for Feb. 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. at St. Mary of the Angels Chapel on the Siena campus in Loudonville, N.Y. A Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by Provincial Minister Kevin Mullen, OFM, will take place at 10 a.m. on Feb. 13 at St. Pius X Church, Crumitie Rd., Loudonville.
