Holy Name Province is mourning the deaths of a friar’s aunt and a candidate’s mother.
Gertrude Lee Fitzpatrick, 89, aunt of Ignatius Harding, OFM, died on July 23 in Danbury, Conn. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Aug. 1 at St. Joseph Church in Brookfield, Conn.
Catherine Grassell, mother of Ken Grassell, a member of the 2015-16 postulancy class, died July 27.
