Friars are mourning the deaths of two friends of Holy Name Province.
Sr. Irene Romero, OSF, a Franciscan Sister of Allegany, died March 29 at St. Elizabeth Motherhouse in Allegany, N.Y.
John Watson, dean of the school of business at St. Bonaventure University, died unexpectedly April 17 after suffering a stroke. A funeral Mass is being held at 5 p.m. on April 20 at St. Bonaventure Church in Allegany.
