The Holy Name Province community is mourning the death of a friar’s relative.
Joseph Cordima, uncle of Raphael Bonanno, OFM, of Boston, died July 20 at the age of 98.
In addition, the Province extends condolences to the loved ones of two friends of the friars.
Sr. Joseph Francis Murray, OSF, a Franciscan Sister of Allegany, died July 2 at St. Elizabeth Motherhouse in Allegany, N.Y.
Dorothy Weir died July 17. She was parish secretary at St. Francis Church in Haskell, N.J., for nearly 40 years, retiring in 2006. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at the church on July 22.
