Three friends of the Holy Name Province community — including a former friar — have died recently.
Raymond Hirt, a former member of the Province, died Sept. 9. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Sept. 14 at St. Albert the Great Church in Huntingdon Valley, Pa.
In addition, friars extend sympathy to St. Barbara Province and the families of two men who died on Sept. 14. Fr. Sebastian Drake, OFM, a member of the province, died in Oakland, Calif., at the age of 94. A. Edward Hardin, brother of St. Barbara provincial minister Fr. John Hardin, OFM, died in Baton Rouge, La.
