The Holy Name Province community is mourning the deaths of three friars’ relatives.
Mary Flood, sister-in-law of Fr. David Flood, OFM, died Feb. 21. Fr. David, a lecturer in the School of Franciscan Studies at St. Bonaventure University, is a member of St. Joseph Province in Canada.
Daniel LaPointe, brother of Jacques LaPointe, OFM, of Madawaska, Maine, died Feb. 22 at the age of 57.
Gladys Day, mother of Gregory Day, OFM, of Boston, died Feb. 27. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. on Feb. 29 at St Agnes Church, Arlington, Mass.
