The Holy Name Province community is mourning the death of the sister of a deceased friar, as well as a longtime employee of a former HNP parish.
Joan Leonard, sister of the late Frederick McKeever, OFM, died on Aug. 21. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Aug. 25 at St. Anthony’s Shrine Church in Nanuet, N.Y. Condolences may be sent to her husband, John, at 31 Rinnie Road, Nanuet, NY 10954.
Dorothy ‘Dot’ Oliver, secretary and bookkeeper for more than 25 years at Queen of Peace Parish in Hewitt, N.J., died Aug. 14. She was affiliated to the Province in 1993.
