The Province is morning the deaths of a friar’s aunt and a friar’s nephew-in-law.
Marianne Kroski, aunt and godmother of Dennis Bennett, OFM, of Silver Spring, Md., died March 28. She served for 28 years as parish secretary of St. Stephen of Hungary Church in New York City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Stephen’s at 10:30 a.m. on April 1.
Thomas Moore, husband of Kathy Moore, niece of William Bried, OFM, of Scottsdale, Ariz., died March 20.
Cleta Higgins, 85, mother of former friar Edward Higgins, of Yonkers, N.Y., died March 17.
