“Start by doing what’s necessary,” St. Francis is said to have written. “Then, do what’s possible and suddenly you are doing the impossible.”
As this new year begins, Holy Name Province acknowledges its 2018 jubilarians – men who have done what is necessary and sometimes impossible while accomplishing many great things through their varied ministries. These men are warmly thanked for their continued efforts to bring the Gospel into the lives of the people they serve. The friars also remember their brothers who died in 2017.
This year, 27 friars are reaching major anniversaries of profession and ordination. Below are the names of HNP members who have jubilees in 2018.

In June, the Province will honor the friars who are marking 25 and 50 years since their first profession of vows. The jubilarians will renew their vows at a special Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church in New York City. Other anniversary celebrations are traditionally arranged by individual classes and are usually celebrated locally.
