BOSTON – On Jan. 22, the friar community welcomed Dorothy and Gene Greene and some of their family members for a special dedication. At 5 p.m., the Greene’s and their guests joined the friars in the fifth floor chapel for the dedication of a special plaque in memory of their aunt and uncle, John and Adele Bonner, donors to the Shrine.
The plaque will be placed by the statue of the Weeping Jesus in the first floor chapel of the Shrine, dedicating that prayer space in their memory. Dinner followed with the friar community.
