EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The community of St. Joseph’s Parish here will bid farewell next month to the friars of Holy Name Province who have served the church for 99 years.
Provincial Minister John O’Connor, OFM, will celebrate the special Mass on June 26 at noon.
Invitations are being sent to all the friars who have served here at St. Joseph’s, according to Ed Chaudron, director of parish operations. The Mass will be followed by a reception in the school auditorium where light refreshments will be served.
