An additional merger with four other parishes in the Southeast Buffalo Vicariate occurred in 2007, resulting in the creation of St. Clare Parish. (Friars stationed in Buffalo still reside at St. Patrick Friary, in use since 1858. The friary recently created a Facebook page for the community.)
