One Year Ago
Oct. 2, 2015 — F. Edward Coughlin, OFM, was inaugurated as the 11th president of Siena College, Loudonville, N.Y., at a ceremony in the Alumni Recreation Center.

Oct. 4, 2015 — Nearly 1,500 parishioners from Sacred Heart Church in Tampa, Fla., gathered for a special Mass of Belonging to celebrate 10 years of Franciscan presence at the parish.

October 2011 — Holy Name Province ministries commemorated the 25th anniversary of the Spirit of Assisi, a gathering of leaders of the world’s major religions to pray for peace.

10 Years Ago
Oct. 20, 2006 — The friar community of Siena College celebrated the 25th anniversary of the current friary by welcoming students, faculty, and staff to an open house. A prayer service concluded the celebration with a rededication of the building.

20 Years Ago
Oct. 2, 1996 — Kevin Mackin, OFM, was installed as the ninth president of Siena College, where he served until May 2007.
