CEDAR LAKE, Ind.. — The provincial ministers (Fred Link, OFM, and Leslie Hoppe, OFM,) and Vicars (Jeff Scheeler, OFM, and John Puodziunas, OFM) of the St. John the Baptist and Assumption Provinces respectively, met in Cedar Lake on Dec. 18, 2007 to explore the possibility of creating a new Province from their two Provinces.
According to the Jan. 3, 2008 Provincial Newsletter of the Assumption Province, more discussions will be held at the 2008 chapters of both provinces. The publication can be found on the Web site of Assumption Province.
