RIVERDALE, N.Y. — Christopher Posch’s work with the Hispanic community was featured in the fall 2006 issue of Manhattan College’s alumni publication.
The Manhattan describes the weekly Mass that Chris offers to approximately 700 migrant workers at the Delaware Park racetrack near Wilmington, Del. For eight years, he has been offering the liturgy to the workers who originate from a variety of Latin American countries.
The article also describes his role as director of Hispanic ministry for the Diocese of Wilmington, a position that Chris has held since 1998. Chris was graduated from Manhattan College in 1984 with a double major:religious studies and computer information systems, a combination that he still finds amusing, according to the article.
