RALEIGH, N.C. — The Catholic Community of St. Francis of Assisi Church, a 4,600-household parish, is seeking a director of pastoral ministries.
The parish has an opening for a creative visionary to supervise the pastoral ministries team, which comprises the coordinators of family life, pastoral care, ministry resources and program development of the Franciscan Coalition for Justice and Peace, support staff, and volunteer ministry.
The director also serves on the pastor’s leadership team. The desired candidate has a degree, preferably a masters, in an appropriate field, and experience leading lay ecclesial ministers and volunteers. A working knowledge of or a willingness to learn Catholic social teaching is required. Experience working with the social mission of the Catholic Church is a plus.
