NEW YORK — An introductory talk about a new Fordham University course is being offered at the Province’s Midtown Manhattan church next week.
The session, describing the course “Entrepreneurial Discipleship: A New Model of Pastoral Leadership for the Church in the Twenty-First Century,” which explores the relationship between business entrepreneurship and ministry, is open to all. This event, at St. Francis of Assisi Church on West 31st Street, on Nov. 29, is the final of three introductions to the course, being held at three locations.
Information about Fordham’s Graduate School of Religion and Religious Education which is sponsoring the course, is available online.
Two years ago, Fordham University, the Jesuit university in the Bronx, recognized the ministry of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and its partnership with the college at its third annual Sapientia et Doctrina Awards ceremony. The award was presented to Provincial Minister John O’Connor, OFM, and St. Francis pastor Jerome Massimino, OFM, at the university’s Rose Hill Campus.
