NEW YORK — Roughly two months after its provincial chapter, Immaculate Conception Province confirmed Fr. Primo Piscitello, OFM, as its new provincial minister.
At a Nov. 22 meeting held at the provincial curia and called by general visitor Fr. Larry Dunham, OFM, members of both the old and new provincial defintories were present along with general definitor Fr. Francis Walter, OFM, who made the announcement in the name of General Minister Fr. Jose Rodriguez Carballo, OFM, and the General Definitory.
The decree from the General Administration of the Order accepted the resignation of provincial minister-elect Fr. Antonio Nardoianni, OFM, and elected Fr. Primo to serve a six-year term.
