MATEO PUMACAHUA, Peru — Percy Osorio Palpán, OFM, and Edgardo Zea Laura, OFM, professed their first vows in the parish church of Nuestra Señora de Lourdes (Our Lady of Lourdes) in Mateo Pumacahua, a neighborhood of Lima, on Sept 9, before Paul Breslin, OFM, superior of Holy Name Province’s foundation in Peru.

Percy and Edgardo spent most of their novitiate year in Baja California, at the novitiate of the Province of Junipero Serra in Mexico, returning to Lima for the last month of their program.  Information about these friars can be found on HNP.org.

Detailed information about Sunday’s ceremony will be provided in an upcoming issue of this newsletter.
