NEW YORK – 2019 was another year of change for Holy Name Province.
The friars prepared to conclude the HNP Fraternal Ecology process after two years of evaluating each of its 30 fraternities-in-mission, and closed Holy Name Friary, its skilled nursing facility in Ringwood, N.J. They also gathered with other friars from across the United States in a historic, first-of-its-kind US-6 Chapter of Mats in Denver, another milestone in the ongoing Revitalization and Restructuring Process. As in most years, there were ordinations and professions to celebrate, and jubilarians to fête.
